    Arrive Cochin:

    Our representative will welcome you at Cochin airport and later escort you for a comfortable stay at your hotel. Rejuvenate yourself to explore the diverse beauty of the Southern part of the country with us.

    Cochin sightseeing

    The day will start with sightseeing at Cochin which includes Cherrai Beach one of the longest beaches where Dolphins are a centre of attraction. We shall also visit the Jewish Synagogue in the port city of Kochi the oldest synagogue in all the Commonwealth of Nations. In the evening enjoy delicious dinner with the local people of Cochin, thus getting in touch with their taste as well as their way of cooking South Indian delicacies. Stay overnight in your room at Cochin.

    Cochin - Houseboat

    Have a lavish stay in the houseboat at Alleppey which is famous for its backwaters. Alleppey backwater cruise is its own specialty. ‘The Venice of the East’ is endowed with exceptional natural beauty and emerged as a major tourist destination of Kerala. Enjoy your stay at the houseboat.

    Cochin - Periyar (Thekkady)

    From the exotic stay at the houseboats today we will move towards Thekkady. The park is often called the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary or Thekkady and exists high in the ranges of the Western Ghats, in God’s Own Country, Kerala. It is notable as an elephant reserve and a tiger reserve. In the afternoon we shall visit kumily 4 kms from Periyar which is basically known for its spice plantation which is also the major occupation of the small town. Night stay shall be at Periyar.

    Periyar sightseeing

    Boat cruises are the best way to observe the wilds of Periyar Sanctuary. Today the Periyar lake makes an exceptional boating shot for tourists. Not many animals are visible from the boats, still you can easily spot a family of Elephants, Wild Boar, and Sambar Deer by the water’s edge. You can even enjoy elephant ride if one has the dare. Stay overnight amongst the nature that is at Periyar only.

    Peiryar - Madurai

    From witnessing the wild life we shall now grow spiritual. Today we will hit the road to Madurai. Temples, monuments and ancient cultural wonders abound in Madurai. It is even called “The Athens of the East”. Madurai’s Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple is one of the greatest architectural marvels of India and we will see the evening ceremony at Meenakshi temple complex. Later check in at the hotel at Madurai.

    Madurai sightseeing

    In the morning we will witness the Meenakshi temple and then the Thirumalai nayak palace. Madurai not only is known for its glorius temples but indeed for its awesome architecture too. “Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal”, is a palace built by the king Thirumalai Nayakar with the help of an Italian architect, in the 17th cent which is a must see for every tourist. In the evening enjoy the ride in the streets of Madurai famous for its textile industry. Night stay shall be at Madurai.

    Madurai - Chettinad

    From Madurai we will drive to Chettinad which is basically the home of the Nattukottai Chettiars,Chettinad is the home of the Nattukottai Chettiars , a prosperous banking and business community. It is also known for its local cuisine, architecture, and religious temples. Later we will also enrich our experience by visiting Chettunadu mansion and nearby villages. Night stay will be at Chettinad.

    Chettinad - Thanjavur - Trichy - Chennai - Mahabalipuram

    Today we shall drive from Chettinad to Thanjavur one of the 32 Districts of Tamilnadu, and popularly known as the Delta area and the Rice Bowl of Tamilnadu. Here we will visit the Brihadeshwara temple one of the largest and most prized architectural sites of India followed by Thanjavur Museum. Then drive to Tiruchirappalli and visit Tiruchirappalli rockfort a historic barricade and temple complex constructed on an ancient rock. Later the Vinayak temple and lastly to Trichy airport for flight to Chennai and on arrival drive to Mahabalipuram. Have a pleasant stay at Mahabalipuram.

    Mahabalipuram sightseeing

    Mahabalipuram was named after the King Mahabali who was killed by lord Vishnu. It is known for its shore temple, Arjuna’s Penance, Five Rathas which are named as Dharamarajar, Bhiman, Arjunan, Nakulan-Sahadevan and Draupathi Rathas and Krishna Mandapam. In the afternoon we shall walk leisurely at the beaches with the guide. Today we will give a halt at Mahabalipuram.

    Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram

    Today the eleventh day shall be fully dedicated to Kanchipuram known as the city of thousand temples. It is also famous for it silk apparels. the temple town is known as one of the holiest haven in India. if you are a follower of lord Vishnu or Lord Shiva this is the destiny for you. Night stay will be at Mahabalipuram.

    Mahabalipuram - Chennai

    From Mahabalipuram we are all set for Chennai by road. Here we will visit the exotic Marine Beach which features the Light House, memorials, statues, walkways, gardens and drives alongside the beach front. Then Kapaleeswar Temple of Shiva located in Mylapore, the form of Shiva’s wife Parvati worshipped at this temple is called Karpagambal followed by Santhome Catedral.

    Chennai - Departure

    In time transfer to Chennai airport for onward flight to next destination or to home.
