After having your early breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be picked up and proceed to Agra.

Agra: Situated on the western bank of the River Yamuna, it is 200 km from Delhi. The Hindu epic Mahabharata refers to Agra as ‘Agraban’, part of the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Though, it is established by a local ruler Badal Singh in 1475. Agra achieved full exaltation in the Mughal period, from the time Babur arrested it in 1526. Babur’s grandson, the Emperor Akbar the great, who was a great empire builder commissioned the Agra Fort in 1565 and the city grew around the center of the fort.

On the midway, we will stop for refreshment or facilities. You’ll reach Agra by 10:30 hrs and met with your qualified tour guide who takes you straight to magnificent Taj Mahal.

Visit Taj Mahal:

You’ll reach Taj Mahal around 11:00 hrs. It is an archetype of love. This monument of white marble resembles classiness, purity, and romanticism which have touched the hearts of societies from all angles of the world. It was erected by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj spreads across 42 acres of land and it is said that this precise spot was chosen by the emperor because of its peaceful and peaceful effect.

Agra Fort

Agra Fort was the main abode of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty till 1638, when Mughal capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and situated about 2.5 km from the very famous Taj Mahal. The fort can be more precisely defined as a walled city.

Itmad-Ud-Daulah

This monument is a special place in the olden times of both histories as well as architecture. This is precise because it is the very first tomb in India that is completely made out of Marble.
